Berkleemusic
After getting back to regular work, I decided to try and get into Jazz a little more by doing some online courses with Berkleemusic. These are expensive, but cheaper than attending Berklee College of Music at Boston.
Some of my assignment examples are below and my Bekleemusic online page is here.
Jazz Guitar 101
Introductory Jazz guitar course by Bruce Saunders.
Jazz Guitar 201
More advanced Jazz guitar course by Bruce Saunders.
Jazz Composition
Composition class given by Joseph Mulholland. I had some reservations before signing up, but ended up being really glad I took this one.
Band in a Box with real tracks was
very useful for making backing tracks quickly.
Some compositions were done using Sibelius, without even touching
guitar, which was very different for me.
